Hello old friend.. its been a while. Summer was good, now the winter is around the corner and Im ready to slowly start posting again.

Thanks to all for dropping by and leaving messages! Its very kind of you. Im equally surprised each time finding people making their way here.


I entertain several sketchbooks... usually with mindless scribblings just to keep my drawing-motor going - once in a while I end up with things that humors me.

Hello blog! I made a new piece for you dear friend.

- Inspired by the movie ´Drag me to hell´, which I´m sure will stand as my most enjoyable theater-experience for the year ..unless something out of the ordinary will occur. As it did, I do highly recommend this flick! Bring someone squeamish with you.

Fashionistas - vehicle sketching

Early explorations of different types of vehicles/cars. As with the characters there will be at least 3 different classes of vehicles for the different groups.



Below: Wheels or no wheels. The wheels do get in the way in the design of a nice vehicle. Unless you find good solutions for them you very often find yourself limited by the wheels, at least I do.

Here I played around with some floating vehicles. But its tricky. I wouldnt want to make it too easy and just have unexplainable sources of power keeping these things up in the air.. so for now I´m dropping the idea a bit. I find that setting limitations makes it both easier to balance things out and adds to an overall believability in the universe that I´m pushing for here which is not intended to be too far from the one we are in now.

Fashionistas - character sketching

At my spare time I have a few personal projects going that I enjoy working on.

These are for a project I have chosen to name ´Fashionistas´.. for now at least. It´s a tricky and fun thing coming up with a new world and a supporting story and try to balance all these ingredients into something entertaining. Despite the name I don´t necessarily see fashion to be the main lead... it´s more about greed and superficiality.

First off here´s some early character-sketching.


My focus here is foremost to get an idea of the general differences between the characters, especially in size as you can see. But with this I can already get a good idea of what direction I would like to take these different groups of characters.

Some male variations. I could definitely go a lot more further with the clothes.

This is also the first time I´m putting my name on my digital work. I figured It would be a good way to take more responsibility for my work, good or bad.
